HELEN TOLER



    Helen V. Toler, 84, of Rural Route 8, Bayview Gardens, East Peoria, died at 4:43 p.m. Friday, July 28, 1989, at Proctor Community Hospital.
    She was born Jan. 20, 1905, in Alto Pass, the daughter of Simon and Lucy Owens Casey.
    She married Clyde O. Toler Sr. on Nov. 11, 1921, in Jonesboro.  He died on March 3, 1973.
    Survivors include three sons, Clyde Jr. and Claude, both of East Peoria, and Jack Toler of Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Hickam of Sunnyland and Mary Ellen Suits of Peoria; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mae Messamore of Anna; other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a great-grandchild, three brothers, and one sister.
    She was a member of Bayview Baptist Church.
    Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, at Mason Funeral Home in Metamora.  The Rev. Ogle Ripley officiated.  Burial was in Spring Bay Cemetery.
    Memorials can be made to the Spring Bay Rescue Squad.
