MAXINE "MAC" TOLER
![]() ANNA – Maxine ‘Mac’ Toler, 75, died at 4:04 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 1998, in St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born November 18, 1922, in Dongola, the daughter of Claude and Leta (Pender) Fisher. She was united in marriage to Don Toler on June 12, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Aug 9, 1976. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Anna and a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Judy and Ronnie Guthrie of Cobden; a son, Gary Toler of St. Louis; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her mother, Leta Pender Fisher of Anna; a sister, Margie Baker; a brother, Floyd Pender; and special friend Helen Sponsler, all of Anna. Funeral services for Maxine “Mac” Toler will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Kenneth Mixen and Rev Wesley Henson officiating.
