MURIEL BEGGS TOLER



    Mrs. Muriel Beggs Toler, 80, of Anna, died at 11:44 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 1993, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
    She was born on Sept. 6, 1912, in Cypress, the daughter of Stanley and Birdie Barnett Beggs.
    She married Fred C. Toler on July 1, 1942, in New Madrid, Mo.  He preceded her in death on July 27, 1990.
    She is survived by one son, Jerry Toler, and one daughter-in-law, Ann Hunter Toler of rural Anna; one brother, Ford Beggs of Buncombe; two grandchildren, Joy and Kim Toler, both of Anna and other relatives.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Beggs and two half-brothers, Claude and Esco Beggs.
    She attended the First Baptist Church in Anna and was locally famous for her prize-winning displays at the Union County Fair.
    Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1993, at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Larry Shaklee, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Anna, officiating.  Interment was in McGinnis Cemetery east of Anna.
    Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
