OLEY M. TOLER



Anna, IL--Mr. Oley M. Toler, 89, of Anna, died at 10:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998 at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1908 in Anna, the son of Monroe and Flora McNeill Toler.  He married Opal Pearlene Hileman on November 11, 1931 in Dongola.
Mr. Toler is survived by his wife, Opal of Anna; one daughter, Wanda Lee Toler of Engleside; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jancie Toler of Anna; one half-sister, Elsie Simmerman of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Tom Hammonds of Spring Grove, Steve Hammonds of Engleside, Donna Kay Nokes of Engleside, Teresa Elener of Round Lake, Ronald Gooden of Makanda, Randy Gooden of Lawrenceville, John Lapinski of Altus, Okla; 11 great-grancchildren; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Ernest Toler and a half-brother, John Toler.
Mr. Toler was a member of Mission Chapel Baptist Church and was assistant director for the Kane County Youth Center for the State of Illinois until his retirement in 1975.
Funeral services for Mr. Oley M. Toler will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating.  Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
