LEE TWEEDY,
JONESBORO, DIES
Lee J. Tweedy, 69, of Rt. 2, Jonesboro. died at 12:35 a.m. today in the Union County Hospital, Anna.
Mr. Tweedy was a livestock dealer in Jonesboro.
He was born Sept. 24. 1899, son of Charles Edgar and Matilda Boyer Tweedy. He was married to Geneva Thompson.
Surviving are his wife of Jonesboro; daughters, Lotrell(?) Hileman of Anna and Trilby Pettijohn of Rockford; a son, Thomas, of Bensonville.; sisters, Mrs. Ava St. Peters of Woodriver, Mrs. Gladys Siviz of Alton and Mrs. Adele Crabtree of Seaside, Calif.; brothers, Earnest and Clarence of Jonesboro and
William of Belleville; and six grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the First Methodist Church in Jonesboro.  The Rev. Ray Rhyne and the Rev. H. E. Lockard will officiate.
Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Harrisburg.
Friends may call at the chapel of Norris and Son Funeral Home, Jonesboro, after 7 p m Thursday.
