![]() LEE TWEEDY, JONESBORO, DIES Lee J. Tweedy, 69, of Rt. 2, Jonesboro. died at 12:35 a.m. today in the Union County Hospital, Anna. Mr. Tweedy was a livestock dealer in Jonesboro. He was born Sept. 24. 1899, son of Charles Edgar and Matilda Boyer Tweedy. He was married to Geneva Thompson. Surviving are his wife of Jonesboro; daughters, Lotrell(?) Hileman of Anna and Trilby Pettijohn of Rockford; a son, Thomas, of Bensonville.; sisters, Mrs. Ava St. Peters of Woodriver, Mrs. Gladys Siviz of Alton and Mrs. Adele Crabtree of Seaside, Calif.; brothers, Earnest and Clarence of Jonesboro and William of Belleville; and six grandchildren. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the First Methodist Church in Jonesboro. The Rev. Ray Rhyne and the Rev. H. E. Lockard will officiate. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Harrisburg.
