WILLIAMS CEMETERY
Union County Illinois Genealogy Trails Transcribed by Bill Medlin  (I located this abandoned cemetery in 2002. It is in a small wooded area behind the residence at 2545 New Saratoga Road. The cemetery is on land once owned by George Williams. There is one larger gravestone with legible inscription, and about 15 smaller stones, most of them falling over or sunk in the ground and too weathered to read. --B. Medlin) ELKINS, Ellen, w/o

ELKINS, L. C., w/o Joseph Elkins, d. April (?), 1892, age 40. Footstone-L.C.E. (Both wives of Joseph share the larger stone. L. C. is Louisa Catherine Williams, d/o George and Nancy Thomas Williams. She married Joseph Elkins Aug 20, 1868.)  |
