Monmouth Cemetery is the amalgamation
of the old Glendale Cemetery & the Monmouth Cemetery together. As
the population grew in Monmouth so did both cemeteries and finally
joining together. Will put history here when I find my old 1886
Portrait & Biographical Album of Warren County, Illinois. I do
know the Monmouth Cemetery is 65 acres of our beloved ancestor's
last resting place with many of the older tombstones in very bad
shape or not even visible anymore. Hard to tell where they are.
It is mowed regularly and kept looking nice. If you have any information on
persons buried here, information you find is not correct, you want
to add somebody, feel free to

am currently trying to straighten out this cemetery. I have it on
cd's that Kathy Mills typed up for me. from my notes and also
another source. It is huge and the files were huge. Some of them got
mixed up somehow maybe in bringing them over from my other Warren
site. But will be working on it. Thanks to all of you called this to
my attention. the links and pages now online and working I hope are
also in a link bar at the tope of every page. I have through Page 18
with a couple of them missing still. Have to check other site,
Warren Co., IL AHGP~ and find the CD's so I can get this all online.
Also, have some photos to get online for this cemetery too. If you
have any to contribute let me know. They will only be on the other
site as not allowed here very many. Plus, I have other things am
doing so might take me a few days
