Thomas Boyle
Thomas Boyle, a well-known and highly respected citizen of Oakdale, died
at his home Thursday morning, aged 69 years. Deceased was born July 12,
1831, in County Antrim, Ireland, and left the old soil when 21 years old. On
arriving in this country he settled at Oakdale where he married Miss
Margaret Boyd. He is survived by his wife and seven children: W.J. Boyle,
Mrs. Wm. Fulton, Mrs. Hessie Ardrey, Thompson Boyle, and Miss Anna Boyle,
principal of the Richview schools, Misses Janie Boyle and Tillie
Boyle, principal of the Oakdale schools.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Rev. Park officiating; assisted by Rev.
Gault. Interment was made at Oakdale.

Thomas Boyle
Thomas Boyle, one of the old and respected citizens, passed away Thursday
morning at 4 o'clock at his home south of town. He had not been well for
some time, but his jovial [sic] kept all from being alarmed and his concern as
well as all the rest of the family was for the invalid wife and mother in the
home. A large concourse followed the remains to the cemetery. Rev. Park,
pastor of the U.P. congregation, conducted the funeral services, assisted by Rev.
Gault. The family have the sympathy of the community.

Mrs. Boyle
The death of Mrs. Boyle occurred at the family residence
south of town at 3 o'clock on Wednesday.
She leaves seven children: Margaret, Mrs. Wm. Fulton, W.J. Boyle,
Thompson Boyle of Chicago, Miss Anna Boyle, Miss Jennie Boyle, Hessie,
Mrs. Wm. Ardrey, of Denver, Colo., and Miss Tillie Boyle.
The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Park, assisted by
Rev. Gault in the U.P. church Friday morning. Interment was made in the
cemetery west beside the remains of her husband; who preceded her to the
Heavenly Home a few months ago. The bereaved family have the sympathy
of the entire community.
