Roy Carrick
Roy Carrick died at the home of his parents Thursday, Aug. 10, after a
two years' illness of diabetes at the age of 23 years. Deceased was
born and grew to manhood in Pilot Knob township and was a dutiful son,
and affectionate brother. The loss of the promising young man is deeply
mourned by his family and a large circle of friends. He is survived by
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carrick, three brothers, Wilfred, Ed.
and Morton, and a sister, Ruth.
Funeral services were held at the residence in Pilot Knob, Saturday;
Rev. R.H. Park of Oakdale officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carrick desire to express their heartfelt thanks to
all friends and relatives for sympathy and aid extended during their
recent bereavement, the loss of their beloved son, Roy Carrick.
