Logan Cemetery is located north of Ashley along U S Route 51.
It is situated on a slight hill to the south of the treatment plant on the west side of U S Rte 51.

 
The below information is based on the list that Linda Morrisett did in May of 1978
with additons by Joe Gaborek & Gayle Skibinski

Sarah Dama (nee Brazzel) White ANDERSON
Alford White had put a limestone stone there and carved her name in it with a pen knife.
The sandstone marker said S D Anderson (Anderson was her 2nd husband) .
She was born ca1850 - died 14 Feb-----.
When I was there 40 yrs ago the stone was there but unreadable.

    The dates on his hard to read headstone were transcribed wrong.
     
    His wife Mary (PIERCE) FLANAGAN b. 1806, TN. d. 1880, Washington Co., IL., and four of their children are buried in a family plot at the Brick Cemetery, Ashley Twp., Washington Co., Illinois.
     
    The Robertson/Robinson FLANAGAN listed below is James youngest brother.
    His wife was Frances "Fanny" McMILLAN.

  • There was, then, a J___ White on a regular stone.
  • There too were two small marker B.R.W. and C.W.
    I believe they stand for Baby (stillborn) and Ralph White and Clarence White.
  • There was another boy Roy White; my notes say they were all buried there but found no evidence of him.

  • Clarence C.J.A. White -- b. 6 Feb 1911 - d. 10 Feb 1911
  • Baby Boy Stillborn -- 20 Feb 1910

  • They were all buried in the same area on the part closest to the highway.
