The location of Union - Brick Cemetery is found by leaving Ashley
going north on U S Rte 51. A small distance to the north of the
railroad crossing at Massachusetts Road (08000 N) turn east and
travel to Indiana Road (29000 E). Take this north until reaching
Kansas Road (08500 N). Following this road east will take you to
Union - Brick Cemetery.

Allen LOSSON / Allen Flanigan LAWSON

Born: 12 March 1833 in McMinn Co., Tennessee.
Died: 30 September 1910, Jefferson Co., Illinois.

He was a son of Allen & Elizabeth (FLANNIGAN/FLENNIKEN) LAWSON.
His full name and dates of birth, death and place of death was found in his obit.

His date and place of birth and his marriage date of 12 Dec 1855,
to Mary (McMILLAN/McMILLON), in Washington Co., IL.,
was also found in his National Archives - Pension File # 632012.

He is buried in the Brick Cemetery, and thanks to whomever gave the
information, or wrote it down to be carved on his headstone,
the name Allen LOSSON is on his Civil War Veteran headstone.

PS. Mary (McMILLAN/McMILLON) LAWSON was a daughter
of Meredith Smith & Caroline (CARTER) MCMILLAN.
