D.M. Crow, one of Ashley's old and well known citizens, passed away last Thursday morning at 4:30 o'clock, at the age of 81 years. He was a veteran of the Civil War and had always been prominent in church work, but had been in poor health for several years.
He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the M.E. church, conducted by Rev. J.W. Britton.
Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery west of town.
