C.L. Farmer

Camel L. Farmer died at the home of his daughter, Eliza Quinn, near Bonnie
January 8, aged 76 years. Deceased was born and reared near Richview and
during the Civil War served three years in Company F, 49th Inf. In 1867 he
was married to Martha A. Doty at Pinckneyville, Perry county. Mary ?.
Hutton became his second wife Oct. 17, 1878. She departed this life Jan. 3,
1908, and he then made his home with his only child, Eliza Quinn.
Interment was made by Simeon Walker Post 699 (?), G.A.R. Fifteen
comrades attended the funeral, five of whom were members of Co. F: Capt.
John A. Logan, Thomas Browy, E.H. Reed, Jackson Livesay, and Lieut.
A.W. Downes, who officiated as Post Chaplain.
