Jesse McBride, a veteran of the Civil War, died Friday morning at his home in Coulterville at the age of 69 years.

Deceased was a native of this county, having been born and reared in Lively Grove township. He was a member of Co. B, 111th Illinois Volunteers, enlisting Aug. 13, 1862, and serving till the close of the Civil War.
