Obituary of Bias Dexter Logan

Bias Dexter Logan of near Oakdale, who underwent an operation for appendicitis in St. Elizabeth's hospital in Belleville S aturday and died Tuesday, was brought here for burial in Hahne's ambulance. The decedent was unmarried and 36 years, 1 month and 11 days old at the time of his death.

Deceased was born April 16, 1894, near Thompsonville, Franklin county. He is survived by three brothers, Herman of Herrin, Clarence of Brookport and John of Nashville, and four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Steel of Pinckneyville, Mrs. Mabel Worthen and Mrs. Callie Swinney of Marion and Mrs. Grace Rendleman of Cobden.

Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the home of Mrs. Robert Carrick, an aunt of the deceased, with whom he was staying, in Pilot Knob. Burial was made in the cemetery west of Oakdale.
