Nashville, Ill., Sept. 22nd 1916

Hon. Commissioner of Pensions
      Washington, D.C.

Dear Sir:

      I am pensioned under above certificate number as the widow of Robert Guthrie. I
am 74 years of age, having been born on the 4th day of February, 1842 at Eaden,
Randolph County Illinois. I make this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the
pension roll of the United States under the provisions of the Act of Congress approved
September 8th 1916. My Post Office Address is Nashville, Illinois.
