Mrs. Rebecca McClurken passed away at her home in Pinckneyville Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock at the age of 38 years.

Mrs. McClurken was a native of this county, being a daughter of Mrs. Rebecca Wilson, formerly of near Rice. Deceased had made her home in Pinckneyville for a number of years and had many friends in this county.

She is survived by her husband, Tine McClurken, four children, her mother, three brothers, James of this city, Wm. and Harry of Coulterville and two sisters, Mrs. A.O. Jones of Three Mile and Mrs. Bert Renner of St. Louis.

Mrs. Rebecca Marie Wilson born in Washington County March 26, 1877.
She was united in marriage to Tine McClurken March 7, 1905. Five
children were born to this union, 4 are living, the other dying in
infancy. She was converted to Christ and baptised into the fellowship
of The First Baptist Church of Pinckneyville in 1906, and continued a
faithful membership until death. Some two months ago, she was taken
with La Grippe, and gradually but steadily grew weaker, until
Wednesday, March 24th, she said good bye to husband and children, and
quietly passed away at her home in this city at 7:45 P.M., age 38
years 11 months and 25 days.

She was born in March, married in March, and died in March.
She is survived by her husband, four children and one step daughter,
three brothers and two sisters.
She was a true wife, a good mother, and a consecrated Christian.
Her saintly rest from it labors and lives forever.
