White Oak School
Built in the 1800s on land donated by the Lisk family
and was still standing in 2008.
When the school closed 1950, the land went back to the Lisk family.

Lillian attended school here from September 1931 ubtil April 1939
When she graduated 8th Grade in 1939, Reo Haun was the teacher.
Lillian's mother, Constance (nee Wisniewski) Pierjok, went to school there too and her older brothers and sister.

The school's cistern with the homemade lid was there in 1931
and remained so in 2008.
