When you come east of Wayne City there will be a curve and you turn left road 600e.  stay on that road, there will be a road to the left on the curve stay on the main road you will pass a big brick church on the right and on up the road will be the Bailey cemetery on the left-hand side. Go maybe a mile you will see big barns and grain bins they have a John Deere sign. and go to next house and  you can see to the left in the field a grove of trees. that is it. The house after Steve you can see the road that go back to it.

The Forth Cemetery is on the property of Steve Peddicord, who gave us permission to clean up the cemetery. Steve’s  neighbor who I regret to say I forgot to ask him his name, also helped by giving us access to the cemetery by his service road. Without their permission the cemetery would have never gotten cleaned.

On November 3, 2007 a group of 5 adults and one boy cleaned up the cemetery.

Once I actually saw the cemetery I never thought that we could accomplish as much as we had. I went in figuring to do as much as we could, hoping to make a difference. The brambles were so thick it was hard to even walk into the area and definitely had a bite to them. The vines were so thick it would wrap around your feet and trip you up. One good thing we never saw any snakes rumored to live in the woods!

The main family headstone is in the center of the picture. There were no standing stones when we arrived.
