Sent Home to Die
Jerome Wallace for many years employed as saw tiler by the Moline Plow company, who has been ill for some time of enlargement of the liver, Saturday night was sent tot he home of his daughter at Carmi, Ill.  A berth was engaged for him on the Q. Train to St. Louis and he was taken to the station in the ambulance and carried into the sleeping car on a stretcher.  His changes of recovery are thought to be slim.  He made the trip to St. Louis alone, but friends telegraphed his son at Carmi to meet him at St. Louis, where he will have to be transferred.  [Rock Island Argus.
