*This William E Kennedy was Robert McCay’s brother who was in the Army and fought 
in the War of 1812,  among other skirmishes.
 
** Catharine Cicila was the last child born in Manchester, Indiana.
      Alfred through Grace were born in Clyde Twp, Whiteside Co, IL.

*** Joseph R Kennedy, was in Co E, 46th Reg’t, Ill Vol in 1861.  
He died of  yellow fever at Natchez, and is buried in the National 
Cemetery of the Azeleas in Natchez, MS.

All were in Robert’s handwriting except the birth of Edward Peoples 
and the deaths of Harvey M and Robert M, himself.
