John Alldritt is a native of Armitage, Staffordshire, England, and was born April 24, 1814. While quite young he came with his parents ot Lowell, Massachusetts, where he remained until May, 1846, when he came to and settled in Clyde, Whiteside County. Mr. Alldritt married Miss Nancy Kingsley, at Lowell Massachusetts, in May 1846. Mrs Alldritt was born at Athens, Summerset County, Maine, November 16 1817. The children of this union are: Ann, born February 23, 1847, now married; Mary, born May 16, 1849; Thomas Jackson, born October 19, 1851; Isaac born April 1 1854; and John Henry, born December 10, 1856. All the children live in Clyde.
