Henry Tuller

Henry Tuller is a native of Hartford, Connecticut, and was born in 1816. He came to Illinois in 1834, and settled in Chicago, and in 1841 came to Whiteside county, and engaged in the mercantile business with Capt. W.S. Barnes, at Albany. In 1842 he purchased the store of Frederick Dwight, in Prophetstown, and did business in the county until 1848, when he went to Peru, Illinois, and became connected with Dodge & Pitts in the manufacture of plows. He is now in the same business with T. D. Brewster, in Peru, Mr. Tuller married Miss Frances E. Snead, the only issue of the marriage being one daughter - Frances E., living at Peru.
