David Pittman of Hopkins, father of Colonel Ellwood Pittman of this city, has sold his farm to Mr. Oltmans, who is now a resident of the Dinsmoor farm, northwest of Sterling. Mr. Oltmans will remove to his new property in the near future and will make his home. Mr. Pittman will move to Sterling and will build a fine residence here in the spring. The farm contains 120 acres and Mr. Oltmans gave $97.50 an acre for it. (Contributed by Larry Reynolds)
