The Progress

Last Saturday, July 7, Mr. Otto Burns and Miss Lulu Griffin were united in Holy Wedlock at Morrison. Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple left Morrison for Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where they spent several days then continuing on to Ryan, Ia., where the groom is engaged in farming and where they will make their future home.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Griffin of Tampico, who has a host of friends, in the set which she moves, who rise to congratulate Mr. Burns and his wise selection of a wife.

The groom is a sturdy young farmer who, until a year ago has always lived in this vicinity, where he is generally respected for those sterling qualities that go a long ways in making a man.

The Progress joins with many friends in wishing the happy couple God's speed on life's journey.
