Plight Vows at Country Home of Bride's Parents
Bessie McNeil of Rock Falls weds Glen Wimer of Idaho

The marriage of Miss Bessie E. McNeil of Rock Falls to Glen W. Wimer of Burke Idaho was solemnized at the country home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. McNeil, south of town at one thirty o'clock Thursday afternoon. The ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. K. Schwab, pastor of the Congregational Church, before a company of relatives, Mrs. H.K. Palmer of DesMoines IA, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor. Little Lola Gettle acted as flower girl and Billy Palmer carried the wedding ring in a rose. The bride and groom took their vows accompanied with music from Mrs. C.W. Gettle.

Mrs. Wimer is a well-known Rock Falls girl and her winsome personality has won her a host of friends. She is a graduate of the Rock Falls High School and of the State Normal School in DeKalb. For the past few years she has been a teacher in the schools of Spokane, Wash. Mr. Wimer is from Burke, Idaho, where he is a mining engineer in the Hecia Mines.

The out of town guests were: Mrs. H.K. Palmer and son of DesMoines IA, Mr. and Mrs. Walter McNeil, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Donaldson and Miss Mildred and Harold Donaldson of Polo.
