A very quiet wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olmstead on Fifth avenue Sunday afternoon. Miss Lena Quackboerner and James Lee were married at 1 o'clock by the Rev. C. A. Gage, pastor of the Rock Falls Methodist church. The ceremony was performed in the presence of only members of the Olmstead family. Mr. and Mrs. Lee left on the 3:29 train for Chicago where they will spend a week with friends. They will return and make their home here until about Jan. 1, when they will go to Los Angeles, Cal.
The bride is a well known and highly respected young woman, She has made her home with the Olmsteads for several years. She has been employed as cashier and bookkeeper in the R. W. Murphy & Son's dry goods store for the last two years and has filled the position with much credit. She will remain in the employ of the firm until she is ready to go to California. Mr. Lee is a carpenter by trade and a young man who has the friendship and esteem of many in Sterling and Milledgeville, where he formerly made his home. He has spent tome time in California and expects to make a fine home for his bride ther, They have the heartiest congratulations and best wishes of many people in this city and vicinity.
