ISENHART, F.M. -- In connection with the recently recorded death of Henry Dambman, 84, Chadwick's last Civil war veteran, it is interesting to know that but one of his comrades of Co. C. 148th IL, in which they enlisted at Dixon Sept. 5, 1864 survives. The survivor is F.M. Isenhart of Greeley CO, a former resident of this vicinity and a brother of Mrs. E.A. VanOsdol of Morrison. He is 88 years of age, and was remarkably well and active for one of his years when he visited relatives here a few months ago. Mrs. VanOsdol although but a child at the time, says she remembers distinctly the day that her father took her two brothers to Dixon to enter the service.
