Postponed Program At Hazel Green School
MILLEDGEVILLE — The Hazel Green school program, which was postponed on account of sickness, was given at the school Thursday [01/05/1933] evening to a large number of patrons and friends, as follows: “Santa Claus,” school; “Welcome” by five pupils; Christmas songs, Alice Wetzel; recitation, Junior Williams; recitation, Bobby Gilbert; drill by eight pupils; monologue, “Getting Even With Sister,” Russel Schneider; recitation, Margaret Wetzel; dialogue, “The Surprise Tree;” recitation, Betty Gilbert; recitation, Eugene Willman; dialogue, “The Ruggles Family;” song, “Christmas Dolls,” four girls; recitation, Lois Gilbert; guitar music, Donald Dennis and Gerald Maxfield; one-act play, “Cornfed Babies,: Lois and Ruth Almy, Esther Harman and Leone Wallace. Leone Wallace is the teacher.
