Wedding Announcement

Hubert Darby & Florence Steinke

Miss Florence Steinke of Deer Grove and Hubert Darby of Tampico were united in holy matrimony at six o'clock Saturday morning in the St. Mary's Catholic church. The service was read by Rev. Fr. T.O. Maguire. The single ring service was used.

The couple was attended by the groom's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Darby. The bride was attractive in an ensemble of pale yellow waffle crepe and wore white accessories. The bridesmaid wore an ensemble of pale yellow flat crepe and also had accessories of white. The groom and best man wore the conventional kark suits. Following the ceremony a three course wedding breakfast was served in the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Darby, to a small party of relatives. Those present for the breakfast were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Darby, Mr. and Mrs. James Darby, Lawrence Darby, Rev. Fr.T.O. Maguire of Tampico and Lawrence and Herbert Steinke of Deer Grove.

Following the breakfast the couple went to Chicago on a short wedding trip, returning to Tampico late Sunday evening. They will make their home in Tampico where Mr. Darby is employed as postmaster. Friends and relatives of the newly married couple extend congratulations and best wishes for many years of happy wedded life.
