Wedding Announcement
OF
Harold Hansen to Kathleen Ann Locey

Miss Kathleen Ann Locey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Payne, Rt. 4, Sterling, becme the bride of Harold A. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hansen, Rt. 4, Sterling, in a nuptial ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 14, in the First Church of the Nazarene. The pastor, the Rev. H.C. Hatton, performed the ceremony, while Mrs. Hatton played organ selections.

Miss Christine Payne, sister of the pride, was maid of honor and John Baker, close friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. The ushers were Jerry Locey, brother of the bride and Gordon Loy, friend of the couple.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an aqua satin long dress, with white lace over it, and carried a bouquet of red roses.

Her maid of honor wore a long white satin dress, with aqua top and for her bouquet chose white carnations.

The bridegroom and male members of the wedding party wore dark suits with carnation boutonnieres.

The bride's mother wore a turquoise dress, with white accessories and her corsage was of carnation. The mother of the bridegroom wore a pink knit suit, with white accessories and a carnation corsage. Carnation corsages were also worn by the grandmothers of the couple.

The reception hall was decorated in aqua and white, the bride's chosen colors, and a beautiful four layer cake was served to the guests from a decorated table.

Linda Heerdt cut the cake after the bridal couple made the initial cut. Peggy Bass and Mary Hansen, sisters of the bridegroom, a well as Peggy Locey, sister of the bride, and Pat Graves, a friend of the couple served the guests.
