The 2nd Jordon's Fort was located in this section and there appears to have been a cemetery there at one time. County Line Church and cemetery are located in the north of the section, still in use.   There was also a Liberty Methodist Church in this section at one time.

There are 2 unknown church's on the 1878 map in this section

Section 12

Africa was a settlement for the former slaves of Alexander McCreey.  In 1890 Beatrice Corley est the Allen Chapel.

Droit City was loacted on the Edgewood cut off of the ICRR during the 1920's

Dillingham Church  just off the Corinth Road, still in use.

Corinth was est in 1818 by John Roberts. On the 1876 map there was a school in town, Center #5 founded by John Roberts Stewart.  Today there are just a few houses and a tiny village hall. On the 1876 map the Corinth PO is shown in section 21

Section 28

Alleghany was plated in 1907 by WH Holland for a mine town. The mine was never developed so the town was never formed. The property was returned to farm land by 1910.  The 1878 map shows a church in this section
