Shilo Church was est in 1862, 3 miles south of Marion

Canaville. The Cana Missionary Baptist Church was here (also known as Odumburg Church), it burnt in Nov 1878 and was not rebuilt. For 1900 delinquent tax list see under township. When the RR station was built it was named for Wm H Willeford, so the name of the town was changed in 1904

 There was a Fairview Baptist Church and the Fairview #4 school on the Sarahville Road. Odumburg had a post office and the Odum #82 school was on land donated by Moses Odum

Ward's Mill was est in 1811 by Joseph and Thomas Griffith.  In Jan 1879, there was a Klutts school.

Gaskells was on a RR line, it was probably just a station.

Creal Springs was an early French trading post. In 1881 Edward G Creal discovered a mineral springs and built a town there, plated in 1883. The Creal Springs Seminary, it opened in 1884 w Gertrude Brown Murray as principle. It was chartered as a college in 1894 and closed in 1916.  . Seaburg Church and school were est in 1825 in this section.

Sulfur Springs was about 3/4 of a mile south of present day Creal Springs.  Seaburg Church was est about 1825
