AUSTIN--At Shirland, Ill., April 15th, Mr. John Austin, aged 69 years--Rockford Weekly Gazette, 01-05-1878

HERRICK, CAROLINE--Mrs. Caroline Herrick died this morning, in Harrison, where she has resided for the past thiry years. She was a sister of Mr. N.S. Smith of this city, fifty-eight years of age, and a native of Wakefield, Mass., and leaves one son and two daughters.--Rockford Daily Gazette, December 23, 1884

HOLLENBECK--JOHN HOLLENBECK EXPIRES AT FRESNO--WINNEBAGO, Feb 5--Mrs. Alford Powell received word today of the death of John Hollenbeck, a brother, at Fresno, Calif. Decedent was a resident here for many years and will be remembered by older residents. Millard F. Hollenbeck of this village is a brother.--Rockford Morning Star, 02-26-1926

HOLMES--Mrs. James Holmes, a lady well known in Pecatonica, died at that place last Saturday evening. She was the wife of James Holmes, an old resident of Pecatonica--Daily Gazette, February 23, 1880
