Articles of Agreement

The undersigned hereby agree to pay the amount set opposite their names subscribed here to what is now knows at the Yankeetown Cemetery with the understanding that the amount of their subscription is to used as a permanent fund to be turned over with the property of the said Yankeetown Cemetery to the newly organized and Incorporated "The Davison Cemetery" for the purpose of keeping the yards and grounds of the said Cemetery in a good state of repair and for the improvement and perpetuation of the said Cemetery. The interest only of this fund is to be used and this fund kept intact as a permanent fund for this purpose. The Yankeetown Cemetery herein referred to is the one situated on section twelve in Linn Township, in the County and State afore said.

The First Meeting

Minutes
April 12th 1919

In pursuance to a call by A. H. Davison, the only remaining trustee of the Yankeetown Cemetery, a meeting was held at Jefferson School house at 2 o’clock p.m. Meeting was called to order by A. H. Davison and on motion W. S. Davison was eleected Chairman and Paul H. Davison Secretary of the meeting.

The following persons were placed in nomination.

On Motion it was decided that the six persons receiving the highest number of votes were to be the Trustees. The ballot resulted as follows
