On every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, the Girls of Lowpoint Township High School held their regular class in Physical Education.

Myrtle Whisler, Velma Call, Pearl Geisenking, Hazel Turley, Eileen Lancaster, Elizabeth Mundell and Ruth Banta were members of the Lowpoint Girls Town Basketball Team. Miss Goode was chosen as the Coach.

The team had rather a successful season. They played seven games, winning three, losing three and tieing one.

The season opened with a game with Metamora Girls Town Team on our floor. It was a nip and tuck game from start to finish - the score was 16-16.
The next game was with LaRose. Lowpoint won with little trouble with a score of 27 to 14.
On December 2, the team played Washburn on our floor. Lowpoint ran rough-shod over them and won with a score of 28-14.

On January 18, the team went to the Peoria Armory to clash with the Proctor Center Team. After being accustomed to playing on our small floor they were somewhat lost on that one. The score was 3 to 15 in Peoria's favor.

The team played at Minonk. Some of the players were unable to go. The score was 12-13 in favor of Minonk.

The team walked to Washburn to play our return game - the opposing team was victorious - score 28-14. Our last gave of the season was at Metamora. After a close game, we won with a score of 18-16.
