In November, 1926, a group of High School boys under the supervision of Rev. Stauffer held a business meeting and formed a club called "Boys' Live Wire Club". The following officers were elected for the year 1926-1927: Francis Mundell, president; Lloyd Schrock, vice-president; Harold Kief, secretary, and Paul Lancaster, treasurer. Throughout the year bean dinners were held in the church basement once a week. The girls were invited twice.

In the year 1927-1928, under the leadership of Mr. Messamore, the boys elected Lynn Banta, president; Paul Lancaster, vice-president, and Harold Schrock, secretary-treasurer. Bean dinners were held once a week. Usually a special speaker attended.

The purpose of the Club is to develop strong, clean young men. In spirit and ideals, it serves the same purpose as would a local Y.M.C.A. The organization now meets in the evening.
