Our Baseball schedule consisted of games with Washburn, Roanoke, and Benson. We had rather a successful season.

We started our Basketball season with a game with ElPaso on our floor on November 9, 1927. We played games with ElPaso, Metamora, LaRose, Washburn, and also with Eureka at the County Tournament. The season's scoring for Lowpoint was 185 points and the opponents scored 174.

Harold Kief and Clifford Fehr represented the school in the County Tennis Tournament held on the Eureka College courts on April 27, 1928. Harold won third in boys' singles and with Clifford Fehr won fourth in boys' doubles.

On April 20, we had a Dual track and field meet with Rutland High School. Rutland took home the pennant. We won five first places, two second places and five third places.

On May 11, we had a Dual track and field meet with LaRose High School. We won the pennant - the first one ever won by the school. We won five first places, ten second places and eight third places.

Lowpoint has been well supported in athletices - the community having a fine athletic spirit. Lowpoint is growing in athletics and ranks well with the larger schools of the county.
