Juniors Junior Officers Junior Class History On September 3, 1925, there arrived at Lowpoint Township High School a group of eleven students who had assembled there to take up their duties. The first few weeks, as Freshmen, we were taunted, teased, and laughed at by the members of the three other classes, and made many mistakes - going into the wrong class rooms, or forgetting to go entirely. Finally we became familiar with the ways of the High School and almost everyone of us took part in the operetta, entitled, "ElBandido." The following year we were very sorry to lose our classmates, Henry Kenyon and Verne Kennedy. This year passed very quickly. By the fall of 1927, we had grown quite strong and began our Junior year with greater vigor and interest than ever before. We are now able to enjoy the bashfulness of the Freshmen as ours was enjoyed. Myrtle Whisler joined us at the first of the year, increasing our class number to ten. We gave our Class play called "The Mummy and the Mumps", on April 13 and 14 with huge success. After a short vacation, we will be ready to enter our last year of school. The present members of the Class are: Standing, left to right: Paul Lancaster, Melvin Scheirer, Clifford Fehr, Lee Kunkel, William Hare, Lynn Banta. Seated, left to right: Myrtle Whisler, Ruth Hahn, Agnes Braun, Vera Pelz. |
