She was a retired bookkeeper for 25 years for Walther Farm Service in Corydon, and a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wisman, daughter Candace Stewart (Herb) one step daughter Diane Dukes (Bill) two step sons Eugene Wisman, (Jan) & Donald Wisman ( Stacey), two brothers Paul James and Alvin Walther, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Funeral services @ St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville, with burial in church cemetery., Gehlbach & Royce are handling arrangements.

Snider, Glenn E. “Chubby” Sr. 75, died June 25, 2006 at his residence. He was an Army veteran of WW II.Survived by wife Clark martin Snider, daughters JoAnn Glotzbach (Larry), Jean Caesar (Bob, Sue Hubbuch (Bob), all of New Albany, IN, Connie L. Robinson, Opal Craycraft 98, died June 28, 2006. She was the last of her 15 siblings. Nicholson, Catherine 87  of Scottsburg,  died June 22, 2006. She was born march 29,1919 in Crawford County, In. the daughter of the late Russell and Lestina Cates Crawford. She married Kenneth Edward Nicholson who died March 16, 2004, She was a bookkeeper for  the late Dr. Marvin McClain and  a member of the Scottsburg Methodist Church. Bolton, Rosa Marie 74 of Sellersburg died June 23, 2006.  She was a native of Owensboro, Ky. and a member of the Calvary Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene Bolton in Feb. 18,2000, they were married June 20, 1949. Starns, Serelda, 89, of Clarksville, IN. died at Sellersburg Health and Rehab Center June 25, 2006 She was the former Serelda Miles, a native of Hart County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Earnest A. Starnes in 1990. Survived by two daughters Brenda Marino of Jeffersonville, IN & Carleen Jaggers (John) of Louisville, Ky, sister Marie Brown of Lawrenceburg, TN, two grandchildren Scott Jaggers and Tracey Marino. Kimbrel, Frances Strahl  McCutcheon, 92, of New Albany, died June 25, 2006. She was a native of Perry County In and a retired nurse. Baird, Stephen Dee, 57, of Marysville,  died June 25, 2006 @ St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown. He was born Mar. 21, 1949 in Jeffersonville, In to Dee R. & Joyce Baird, and was a member of Old Salem United  Methodist Church. Dallmann, Harold J. 85, of Clarksville, died June 26, 2006 @ Clark memorial Hospital. He was a Milwaukee, WI native and an Army Air Corps and veteran of World War II. McMurry, Bett Jean, 77, died June 25,2006 in Clarksville. She was a registered nurse and had worked with the open heart surgery departments of Norton, Audubon & Jewish Hospitals, and a member of Culbertson Baptist Church. Andriot, Peter “Pete” Sr. 80, died June 28,2006 in Corydon. He was a retired self employed contractor and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a Navy World War II veteran & was in the Iwo Jima campaign. Skaggs, Leonard W. Sr. 82, died July 7, 2006 in Jeffersonville, IN. he was a native of New Albany, IN. and a World War II veteran and retired from Bell South Phone Company. Survived by his wife Sylvia Burkhead Skaggs, sons Leonard W. Hickerson, Anna Kathryn Mukes, 73 died June 28,2006 in New Albany. She was retired from the New Albany Independent School Corporation. She was preceded in death by her son Michael L. Hickerson.

Nixe, Reverend Sherman, 80 of Clarksville, In, died July 2, 2006 at home. He was a native of Hazard, KY. And a widower of Josephine Turner Nixe & a retired pastor of the former Mission of the Holy Spirit Church in Clarksville, and currently  Main Cross Baptist church in Charlestown, IN, & an Army veteran of World War II, recipient of the Purple Heart and  a disabled veteran.
