A very beautiful wedding at Wayne Street Methodist Episcopal Church
Thursday evening at 8:30 o'clock united in marriage
Miss Florence Smith daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Smith. of 1010 Wilt
street, and Mr Nathan Ferris, son of Dr and
Mrs. C. S. Ferris of East Lewis street. Many friends of the two
families were gathered to witness the ceremony, at which the
Rev J. F. Porter officiated Tho bride was attended by Miss Margaret
Wieneke as maid of honor and the Misses Charlotte
Loeschor and Hilda Roembka bridesmaids, while little Anna Marie
Callahan as flower girl carried the two rings in the heart
of a illy The two bridesmaids wore gowns of pale pink and blue and
carried baskets of pink and lavender sweet peas
respectively, and Miss Wieneke was in nile green georgette crepe and
carried an armful of pink rosebuds The little
flower maiden in sheer white lace and organdy with sash and hair bow of
dainty yellow tulle Mr. Arthur Blandenberger
attended the groom as best man and Messrs Glen Rupple and Clem Fox were
the Ushers
The bride was handsomely attired in white satin, combined with silver
cloth, her court train falling from the shoulders. From a
cap of tulle, built becomingly high in front with a medallion of real
lace, the veil fell to the hem of the train, where the ends
were tied in a large and graceful bow,
The wedding supper served to members of the bridal party and to
immediate relatives of the two families immediately
followed the ceremony at the residence of the bride a parents, on Wilt
street where the rooms were artistically decorated
for the occasion with garden flowers
Mr. and Mrs. Ferris have dispensed with a wedding trip and have gone to
housekeeping in their own cozy home

Furnace company and the groom is employed by the
Perfection Biscuit company. Both young people have many friends
and the congratulations and best wishes for the future
