ST PAULS' CEMETERY
St. Paul Cemetery, in the central part of Ohio Township, is on State
Rd. 58. St Paul Lutheran Church was torn down many yrs ago.
This is now a community burial ground and is cared for by an
inter-denominational Board of Trustees.
The bodies of some of the pioneer residents were moved here from the
Baptist Cemetery after that church burned.
Among these was Marcus Clark, who was the founder of the Baptist Church
and preached for that congregation several years.
He and his wife, Electra Sherman Clark, came here in covered wagons.
Marcus Clark was related to Geo. Rogers Clark.
