MARION
Mrs. Will J. Houck, 61 years old, wife of an attorney is dead. Mrs.
Houck was prominent in church work.
Furneral services were held Saturday afternoon and the body will be taken to Dunkirk Sunday for burial..
Glen W. Clark, 32 year old factory worker, is dead. He is survived by the
widow, two sons, a daughter, and his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Morton Clark, Jonesboro.
Burial will be in the cemetery near Fairmount.
George Black Heal, 16 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milo Heal, is dead
at his home in this city.
SHELBYVILLE
Mrs. Emily Fisher, 69 years old, died at her home, south of here. Three
daughters, Mrs. Lula Stanfield, Edinburg; Mrs. Zella Harrell and Miss Myrtle Fisher, this city; five sons,
Ora F. Fisher, St. Louis, Mo.; Willis Fisher, Henry Fisher, and Noah Fisher, Shelby county and Jesse Fisher, Indianapolis;
two brothers Frank and John Scott, Johnson County, survive.
Henry T. Roberts, 67 year old business man, died here from heart trouble.
He had been engaged in the automobile business in Shelbyville for several years. the widow, two sons,
H.C. Roberts and R.N. Roberts; two daughters Mrs. Louisa McCabe and Mrs. Anna Lewis; two sisters, Mrs. Tabitha
Lewis and Mrs. Mary Gordon this city survives.
Mrs. Julia Kathleen Mohr, 18 years old, is dead at her home here from influenza.
The husband, Andrew Mohr; an infant son Russell; her father, Aaron Alyea; one brother,
Marlowe Alyea and one sister, Mrs. Alice Roberts, Shelby County, sirvives.
ANDERSON
Mrs. A. W. Gardner, 57 years old, died at the Home hospital here. The husband
and two children survive.
Mrs. Oscar Ham, 52 years old, wife of a farmer living in the southern part
of Madison county, is dead. The husband and three children, J.L. Ham, Chicago;
Mrs. Jesse Biddle and Mrs. William Cook, living south of the city survive.
NASHVILLE
Mrs. Julia Harrison, aged 83 years old, wife of late Rev. William
Henry Harrison, is dead at her home in Hamblen Township. Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Methodist church. The
husband died about twelve years ago. The following children survive: Mrs. David Walker, Edinburg; Mrs. William
Cochran and Mrs. Jacob Rhude, Hamblen Township; and Levi Harrison, Franklin Township.
Miss Minnie Deckard, 28 years old, daughter of Thomas Deckard, one of Brown
County's most prominent farmers, is dead at her home in Johnson Township. Miss Deckard was a student in the Nashville
High School here.
Michael Wiery. Word as reached Nashville of the death of Michael Wiery,
68 years old, formerly of Nashville, at his home in Edinburg. The widow and six children survive.
ATTICA
Abraham Clawson, 57 years old, retired farmer and Civil War Veteran,
is dead at his home here after a long illness. Mr. Clawson spent his entire life in Fountain county . Mr. Clawson
was married to Abigail Smith in september 1866, and to this union four children were born, all now deceased. Several
years after the death of his wife Mr. Clawson married Ella Cottingham in 1875, who survives him. Mr. Clawson enlisted
in 1862 in the Cavalry and served for a period of three years.
LAGRANGE
Mrs. Philip High, Funeral services were held for Mrs. Philip High
at Helmer, Ind. near here. Death was the result of a second stroke of paralysis. she was born in Dekalb County,
Ohio, Aug. 3, 1855. she leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mamie Simons of Tekonaha, Mich.; Mrs. Gertrude Mortorff and
Mrs. Lottie Sherrick of Stroh, this county, and one son, Fred, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Sarsh Langley of Stroh.
VALPARISO
Mrs. Stella Hanner, 55 years old, is dead at her home in Michigan
City of Cancer. Surviving are the husband Henry Hanner, four children and the following brothers and sisters: Francis
Sheets of Valparaiso. Mrs. George Wallace of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Marion Breyfogle of Chicago. Funeral
services will be held at Michigan City and the remains brought to Valpariso to be buried.
Mrs. Joseph Brown, 63 years old, a resident of Chesterton, died at the
Christian Hospital here following an extended illness, pneumonia developing, which was the direct cause of death.
Funeral services will be held in Chesterton.
Herman Domke A.W. Goodman was called to Chicago by the death of his brother
in law. Herman Domke, who died in a chicago hospital following an operation for gall stones.
MORRISTOWN
George Becker, 85 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ozra
Moore, north of here. Death was caused by cancer. He leaves two sons and four daughters.
CONNERSVILLE
Nancy Reid, Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Reid, 73 years old, who died
Friday morning at her home here, will be held Sunday afternoon at the Grand Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church.
Surviving relatives are the husband, two step daughters, two grand-daughters and one sister. The husband is critically
ill.
Fred Bateman, 41 years old, died Friday morning at his home southwest of
the city. He had ben critically ill for three weeks. A blood transfusion operation was performed in an effort to
prolong his life. Surviving relatives are the widow, the father and two sisters. Funeral services will held held
Monday. burial will be in Dale cemetery.
COLUMBIA CITY
Benjamin F. Beeching, 65 years old, a farmer east of this city, dropped
dead while in the yard of a neighbor. the widow, seven children and several brothers and sisters survive.
Mrs. Bryant: Mrs. Lloyd T. Bailey has been called to Dowaglac. Michigan
by the death of her sister, Mrs. Bryant.
Nancy J. (Mannon) Fager, widow, 81 years old, native of Whitley County. is dead at Pierceton. Two nieces, Mrs.
Alice Holderman and Mrs. Jennie Norris survive.
HARTFORD CITY
Mrs. Eliza Listenfeltz, 81 years old died at her home northeast of this city, Friday. she is survived by
three brothers and a sister, Samuel, peter and William Strait, all of this county, and mrs. Nettie Miller of Pennville.
Four daughters are Mrs. Keziah Stratton, mrs. Louis Hutchinson and mrs. Norman Jackson of this county and Mrs.
Creel Warren of Munice.
SCOTTSBURG
Riley McAhran, 65 years old, is dead at his home near Zoah of apoplexy. While he and a neighbor were attempting
to lead a calf he was stricken and died eight hours later. He is survived by the widow and a daughter at home,
two sons in Minnesota and a brother, Sam McAhren of Decatur. Indiana.

Mrs. Anna Vogler
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Vogler, 38 years old, 28011/2 Cornell Ave., who died at St. Vincent Hospital
Monday morning at 12:45 am will be held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Henry C. Croon, 2249 North Arsenal Ave.
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Crown Hill.
Mrs. Vogler was born in Indianapolis. Her mother Mrs. Ada Karwelk; a daughter Ruth; and four
brothers, Charles Karwelk, Albert Karwelk, Rudolph Karwelk, and Ernest Karwelk survive, besides her sister.
