Dear Brother. I take the present opportunity of writing you a few lines to let you know that we are all well at present and hope this may find you enjoying the same. Well, I have nothing much to write this time—the weather is some what chid know [cold now?l and work lis] some what backward, although some has sowed wheat. There has been a great revival here this winter. All the young folks joined the church and been baptised. There were fifteen baptised in one day. I will tell you who some of them was. Henry Springer, George and Charles and Mearyet, Beca Jane Goff and Billie Thomas. Andred Jr. Carl, Ceta and George Hand. Beca Brierfield. We had meetings for about six weeks day and night. It commences again soon. George Fisher joined the church and then took a fool notion and runaway and went to the army and he was sorry enough afterwards that he had done so. He cried most all the time. His Father tried to get him off but he could not. He writes that he is some better satisfied for he has to be. Tom and George up again is gone and John Spencc and Jim Sullivan run off and went. Well, Wilson Denes is in the worst fix. He kill[ed] Ham Martin with a rock. He struck him at the back of the head with the rock. He lived two days but never spoke. Will is under arrest yet. He had a trial but has to be settled in court. He is bailed out of jail for four hundred dollars till his trial goes off. Well, Nick Bates and some others has backed out and I should not wonder much that Dan did not go at all events. Most everyone thinks you had better stay where you are and I think so too. Well, I guess I have wrote all the news. Write soon and let us know what you are going i0 do. Nothing more only
your Brother until Death, Isaac Bull Jr.
