Bethel Methodist Cemetery

General Condition
This is a dual personality cemetery. There is a main area that is mown and easy to maneuver. Around the sides of the cemetery, however, the area is overgrown and it is difficult to even see the stones. Most stones are older and several are broken. Other stones are under trees and in the brush and will present a challenge. There are about 100 stones remaining in the cemetery.

Directions
Exit I-465 at Kentucky Avenue on the southwest side of the county; turn right on Kentucky Avenue and go northeast .3 miles to Hanna Avenue. Turn left on Hanna Avenue and go west 2.1 miles, crossing over the interstate, until Hanna deadends at the South Perimeter Road of the Indianapolis International Airport. Turn left on South Perimeter Road and go northeast 1.1 miles, the cemetery is on the left side of the road in a small stand of trees. There is a small parking area.
