HISTORY AND GENEALOGY

MIAMI COUNTY

CEMETERIES
TOMBAUGH CEMETERY
Located in Perry Twp., Miami County, on 1200N, between 450E and 500E, on the north side of the road, immediately east
of the Olive Branch Church of God, which was formerly known as the Enterprise Church.
Although it never has been associated with the church in anyway,
the cemetery sometimes has been referred to as the Enterprise Cemetery.
The land for the cemetery was donated by George Tombaugh, who came from Washington County, Pennsylvania around 1837.
(He was the great-grandfather of Wendell C. Tombaugh, the co-compiler of this work)
The rows run north and south, are numbered from east to west, and the markers are read from north to south.
All readings were taken by Jean C. and Wendell C. Tombaugh in four hours on Saturday, June 28, 1975 and Sunday, June 29, 1975.
