ADAMS

The funeral of Benjamin F. Adams, sr., was held his morning at the residence on south College avenue in charge of Rev. Collins. The service which began at 8:30 o'clock was attended by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends. Music was in charge of Mrs. James Bowles and was sung by a quartette of Mrs. Bowles, Wallace Pauley, Paul Baker and Miss Haidee Nuckols. The selections were, "Saved by Grace," "Is This Not the Land of Beulah" and "It is Well with My Soul." The pall bearers were: Hubert and Fred Beck, Wm. ALLEN

Mrs. Zada Ethel Allen, 71, 1405 W. 12th, died Monday at Bloomington Hospital.  She was a life resident of Bloomington and had been employed at the 24-hour Grill before she became ill. Her husband, Edward S. Frye, preceded her in death. She leaves five daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Ruby) Deckard, R. 8, Mrs. Marshall (Violet) Eads, R. 4, Mrs. Elwood (Ruth) Norris, Pendleton, Mrs. Ted (Oneta) Hathaway, Medaryville, and Mrs. Doris Bough, W. 12th St.; two brothers, Perry Roberts, R. 8, and James Roberts, R1, Ellettsville; a sister, Mrs. Viola Frye, Rockport Rd.; a half-brother, Claude Roberts, English; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.  Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Day Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Wednesday.  Burial will be in Allen's Creek Cemetery. - Bloomington Daily Herald Telephone, 19 October 19, 1965, Page 002

ALLGOOD

Dennis E. Allgood, 30, of Bloomington, died Tuesday at his residence. Born Oct. 23, 1972, in Bloomington, he was the son of Daniel Allgood Sr. and Paula (Swafford) Allgood.  He was a painter.  Survivors include his wife, Lisa Powell Allgood of Bloomington; one daughter, Hannah Marie Allgood of Bloomington; his mother, Paula (Swafford) Allgood of Bloomington; his father, Daniel Allgood Sr. of Bloomington; three brothers, his twin, Kenneth Allgood, Daniel Allgood Jr. and Chad Allgood, all of Bloomington; one sister, Kristian Allgood of Bloomington; his grandfather, Dennis Swafford of Bloomington; and six nieces and one nephew.  Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, with Brother Tom Freeman officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.  Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.  – unknown source
