FARREL
Thomas Edward Farrel, aged 66, died at 5:30 this morning at the home, 6?? North Morton Street after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock. He is survived by the wife Mrs. Melvina M. Farrel and two daughters, Mrs, Norval Dawson of New Philadelphia, Ohio and Corp. Dorothy Marie Farrel who is a WAC at Camp Hood, Texas. Mr. Farrel had lived .1n Bloomington for the past five years, coming here from Martinsville where he had been employed as a fireman at a laundry. He was a native of Ohio, having been born there on August 7, 1879. His parents, James and Martha Taylor Farrel were both born in Ireland. – World Telephone, 06 March 1946

FRANKLIN
Funeral services for Jesse Franklin, 79, who died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alva Judah and Mr. Judah, 910 East University street, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the First Christian Church of which the deceased was a member. Rev. W. E. Moore, pastor, will be in charge of the rite, and music will be furnished by singers of the church. Mr. Franklin died of paralysis following a year's illness. His wife preceded him in death 26 years ago. Active pallbearers will be: Gavin Judah, Sterling Johnson, Lennie Ison, Floyd Southern, Ervin Taylor and Donald Rogers. Honary pallbearers will be: W. N. Shaw, Rice Wampler, Charles Campbell, Lucian McDaniel, Alva Pryor, Charles Headley and Pat Finley. Interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Judah home 910 East University until the funeral hour. - - Bloomington Telephone, Thursday, 29 September 1932
FREEMAN
Funerals: Ray Freeman, 70 of 611 Duncan Dr., who died Monday at his home. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Richland Church of Christ, with Brother Bill Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Whitehall Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Garth Fleener, Melvin Wilcox. Gary Freeman, Dan Danforth, Jerry Palma, and Ed Hon.. FRY
Edward Fry, 43, died at 3 a.m. Sunday at his home in Polk Township. Death was caused by an internal ailment. He had been ill a year. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Allen's Creek Church and interment will be made in the cemetery nearby. - Bloomington Evening World, 6 July 1931, Page 001
