Mrs. Thomas McCampbell, who lived near Bethany Church, died Monday morning of consumption which followed the grippe. She was about 38 years old and a most estimable woman. She leaves six children and husband. – Rockville Republican, June 11, 1890

McCORD

Bloomingdale - Newton McCord, an old and well known citizen, who lived a short distance east of this place, died on Sunday evening last. His disease was neuralgia of the heart. He was sick for more than three months, and was a terrible sufferer. Death, which terminated his suffering, seemed to be a relief. He leaves a widow, several grown up sons and daughters, and many friends to mourn his loss. – Rockville Republican, August 3, 1881
