Lizton Ind. *This Bible was published in 1869,
and evidently came into the family ca. 1873, between the births of Neva
Shinn (1872) and Lorie Shinn (1874). All events pre-1874 are written in the
same hand and seemed to have been entered at one time. The Bible was found in an
Indianapolis alley. The finder contacted the submitter, Mary Ann Cole, after
seeing a query concerning this family in The Indianapolis Star. Mary Ann Cole
is the granddaughter of Carmine E. Shinn.
